04/23/18 - 0640hrs Daily report, California State Militia

#Me2A * Santa Clara County, CA: Community Summit on Firearms and Safety. Saturday, April 28th. See our Events page for full details. * SFO, CA: If you happen to be flying out of or into SFO Monday afternoon, be aware that a demonstration is being held in support of Jerome Aba. Aba is accusing U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents of torturing him (yes really, at SFO, gateway to the most liberal place in the world). Aba claims that he was detained for 28 hrs, told to strip naked, accused of being a terrorist and didn’t give him food until 24hrs into his ordeal when they gave him pork, intentionally according to Aba, because he is Muslim. So if you happen to be there at that time and are inconvenienced; now you know why. There is no confirmation that Aba’s accusations are true at this time. * Antioch, Tennessee: A manhunt is still underway for a man that killed four at a Waffle House. The shooter exited a pickup truck in the parking lot naked except for a green jacket. After he entered the restaurant he continued shooting and then either ran out of ammunition or had a jam, he was disarmed by James Shaw Jr. Shaw was able to wrestle the rifle (AR15) out of the shooters hands and throw it over the counter. They continued to scuffle until the shooter wrenched free and fled out of the door. He has numerous incidents of blatant mental issues. He had his firearms card removed by authorities while hi lived in Illinois. The authorities allowed the father to take all of the shooter's firearms with the assurance he would never let his son have them. Apparently the father gave the guns back to the son. That is what is being reported currently. The shooter is still on the loose and likely armed. * North Korea: Kim Jong-un is certainly trying to say all the right things. But this song and dance has occurred in the past, though not to this level. Usually U.S. Presidents have capitulated in one way or another. As the Summit approaches between President Trump and Kim, expect the unexpected. Already North Korea announced that it is suspending nuclear tests and closing an atomic test site. Many news sites are putting a very positive spin on this while a few have noted that North Korea said essentially that they stopped because they were no longer needed, that they had accomplished what they needed for testing. South Korea has silenced their own propaganda loudspeaker system at the border in anticipation of this coming Friday’s meeting between South Korean’s President Moon Jae-in and Kim. -Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) * There are no active watches, warnings or advisories -Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Sunrise - 0624hrs.
