02/27/18 - 1307hrs Daily report, California State Militia

* New Jersey: the Cherry Hill East High School has placed a teacher on administrative leave and ordered to undergo a physical and psychiatric examination for having the guts to discuss what to do if there was a school shooting at his school. The teacher, Timothy Locke, said during the conversation that he would “protect his students at all costs.” BTW, he is an Iraq war veteran. Soooo military veteran, who is now a teacher, said if the school was attacked he would protect his students… and is then put on administrative leave… The silver lining? The students walked out in support of their teacher, not is support of eliminating rights. * Idaho: Idaho is leading the charge to eliminate Obama-care. The Governor has asked the Department of Insurance to seek creative ways to make healthcare more affordable. * Milwaukee, WI: A concealed carry permit holder shot and killed a carjacking suspect on Monday. The CCW permit holder is cooperating with police. The Alderman Representative of the neighborhood said: “That young man didn't have to die today. He didn't have to lose his life, but he made a bad decision and he did,”, “his isn't a game. This isn't live-action ‘Grand Theft Auto.’ You don't respawn after you're dead,”. -Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) * High Surf: San Luis Obispo County Central Coast; Santa Barbara County Central Coast * Winter Weather Advisory: Tulare County Foothills, Kern County Mountains, Indian Wells Valley; Southeastern Kern County Desert, Los Angeles County Mountains excluding the Santa Monica Range; Santa Barbara County Mountains; Ventura County Mountains, Apple and Lucerne Valleys; Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills * Winter Storm Watch: Northeastern Mendocino Interior; Northern Humboldt Interior; Northern Trinity; Northwestern Mendocino Interior; Southern Humboldt Interior; Southern Trinity, Greater Lake Tahoe Area; Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties, Mono, Surprise Valley California, North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County; South Central Siskiyou County; Western Siskiyou County, Burney Basin, Eastern Shasta County; Clear Lake, Southern Lake County; Motherlode; Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Northern Lake County; Northeast Foothills, Sacramento Valley; Shasta Lake Area, Northern Shasta County; West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada; Western Plumas County, Lassen Park, * Winter Storm Warning: Riverside County Mountains; San Bernardino County Mountains; San Diego County Mountains * Wind Advisory: Carquinez Strait and Delta; Central Sacramento Valley; Clear Lake, Southern Lake County; Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Northern Lake County; Northeast Foothills, Sacramento Valley; Northern Sacramento Valley; Southern Sacramento Valley -Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Sunrise - 0642hrs. In the East an international coalition airstrike hit Syrian pro-government positions. - CA Firearms Laws: * Same tyranny as yesterday …It’s going to get worse… * Your CA representatives…you know those folks that forgot what the Constitution is for? Well they are working on a whole plate of new anti-gun laws just for our safety. From expanding the definition of what is an Assault weapon (I know ther is no such thing…tell them that) to include .22s and any semi-auto rifle with a removable magazine to expanding the ability of others besides family to declare someone dangerous allowing police to remove their firearms with no trial or burden of proof. Thought of the day: Having a gun in your home does not make you safe. Just like a gun doesn’t kill someone, it doesn’t protect me or my family either. I have to train with it. I need to become proficient with that tool for it to be useful and increase my chance of being able to protect myself or my loved ones. Now, I bet most of you are agreeing with me. Here is the problem. The State of California is actively making gun owners less safe. The State is endangering my wife and children. How? Because the state is intentionally trying to make my firearms less safe with laws that are based on physical appearance and not function. By forcing the use of a bullet button and neutered 10-rnd magazines, the State made it more difficult for me to protect my home and my freedom. Forcing featureless is just dangerous as you are now altering the design of a weapon to exist within California’s ill-thought-out restrictions. But let’s not stop there; the new laws on ammunition will make it more difficult to obtain that ammo for training for rifle or pistol. In fact, I don’t know about your area, but I know in mine, Gun Ranges, as well as instruction classes, are being closed down. The ones that are open are in many ways so worried about lawsuits or being closed down that training is very one dimensional and nowhere near what could and should be offered in a free market economy. Oh yes, I find other ways to train, and I do train, it’s my responsibility. But I think it is fair to say now that the State of California is complicit if not outright responsible for making firearms use in this state less safe and even dangerous. The state is now endangering my family and yours. For each criminal the State reduces a sentence for, it seems they write another bad law that limits me, takes away my freedom and yours.
