Police have said there is no evidence of foul play or weather-related issues. * Olympics: Couldn’t resist…the husband of a husband/ wife team has been stripped of the bronze medal after he tested positive for doping. He was a member of the Russian curling team…. Doping? For curling? I guess the Russians just can’t resist… but come on…curling isn’t even a sport; it’s a damn drinking game! (Part of this might have been editorialized a little). * Washington, DC: President Trump and his Administration are moving against bump-stocks, looking at raising the age for purchase of some firearms, doing more on back-ground checks, including mental health checks and also arming teachers that are willing to carry and be trained. It appears that Gun Free Zones will also be reviewed. U.S. Embassy, Montenegro: A grenade was thrown into the Embassy compound. No injuries or damage was reported from the blast. A Serbian-born resident might be the suspect but police have not confirmed. The embassy staff is safe. -Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) * Wind Advisory: San Luis Obispo County Central Coast; Santa Barbara County Central Coast, Antelope Valley, Santa Barbara County Mountains; Santa Barbara County South Coast, Los Angeles County Mountains excluding the Santa Monica Range, Ventura County Mountains, Eastern Sierra Slopes of Inyo County; Owens Valley, Eastern Mojave Desert, Including the Mojave National Preserve; Morongo Basin; Western Mojave Desert, Indian Wells Valley; Kern County Mountains; Southeastern Kern County Desert, Apple and Lucerne Valleys; Coachella Valley; Riverside County Mountains; San Bernardino County Mountains; San Diego County Deserts; San Diego County Mountains; San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning, Joshua Tree NP West * Winter Weather Advisory: Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties; Surprise Valley California, Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Mono, Mariposa, Madera, and Fresno County Foothills; Tulare County Foothills, Kern County Mountains, Del Norte Interior; Northern Humboldt Interior; Southern Humboldt Interior; Southwestern Humboldt, Northern Trinity; Southern Trinity, Burney Basin, Eastern Shasta County; Motherlode; Northeast Foothills, Sacramento Valley; West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada; Western Plumas County, Lassen Park, Central Siskiyou County; Western Siskiyou County * Hard Freeze Watch: Coastal Del Norte, Mendocino Coast; Northern Humboldt Coast * Freeze Watch: East-Central San Joaquin Valley; Southeastern San Joaquin Valley; Southwestern San Joaquin Valley; West-Central San Joaquin Valley, -Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Sunrise - 0649hrs. The individuals are members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The former President Morsi was a member and it has since been outlawed after the ouster of Morsi. * Syria: -UPDATE- Ghouta: The rest of the world is suddenly realizing that 5 days of shelling and airstrikes on a once modern suburb results in human catastrophe. Various groups are calling on Syria to stop the artillery and airstrikes. The civilian casualties are expected to be extreme but numbers reporting is unreliable at the moment due to non-stop attacks. 13 hospitals have been bombed. In eastern Ghouta alone residents endured 61 airstrikes and 70 civilians dead that were known so far today. There are reports like this throughout the entire region. * Northern Syria: The noose around Afrin tightens with combined Turkish and FSA militants. Some support has arrived in the form of Syrian army and other militant groups to oppose the Turkish invasion. The main square of Afrin is still filled with civilians and militants in support of the Kurds with plans to continue to fight the Turkish invasion. * Eastern Syria: SDF forces (Kurdish) have taken the town of Al Bahrah from ISIS as well as a large cache of weapons. –END OF UPDATE- [Wednesday] Eastern Ghouta doesn’t have much of an update other than the airstrikes and artillery continues. The MSM has picked up on the story now and are discussing the conditions in this suburb east of Damascus that was a rebel hold out against Assad. [Tuesday] The Eastern Ghouta (eastern suburb of Damascus) has gone through 2 straight days of airstrikes and artillery. Over 250 civilians are listed as dead in the last 2 days alone. Elite Pro-Government troops known as Tiger Forces have entered the fray and are engaged in street to street fighting. Multiple towns and villages have fallen and others report heavy continuing clashes. About six hours ago the Russian air force also began aerial bombardment of the area for the first time. * Northern Syria, Afrin: YPG forces (Kurdish) are being driven from villages and towns throughout Afrin by Turkish and FSA forces. Heavy artillery and airstrikes continue to wreak havoc on YPG strongholds…it’s not clear at the moment where these units are retreating to, but they have abandoned positions in close to 20 villages and towns. Pro-Assad forces, backed by Iranians are moving in a large military convoy to the northern area to support the YPG forces. A large contingent of that convoy has entered into Afrin but a portion of it was forced to retreat when Turkish artillery targeted the convoy and the route entering the area. While Syrian government forces move to reinforce YPG forces on the Turkish border, Turkey has a convoy of 1200 special forces heading into the Afrin area. * Eastern Syria: 100s of tribal fighters are moving from Raqqa to Ghouta in a large convoy. I’m not a 100% of this, but I believe they are anti-Assad and moving to support the rebel forces under siege in the E Ghouta area. No new reports of U.S. airstrikes or Russian mercenary casualties. - CA Firearms Laws: * Same tyranny as yesterday …It’s going to get worse… * If you would like to contact President Trump you can do so here: Email: Phone: 202-456-1111 Letter: The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500 Thought of the day: My rights are from birth, not the Constitution. The Constitution is the greatest documentation of individual rule to create a National Government ever created. The Constitution reminds me of what I should be fighting for because as humans, we have short memories and quickly forget even the freedoms won with blood. There is no government form harder than to have a Country run by its citizens and in a breath and a blink, that can end. Keep your head on a swivel and stay safe -DeltaWhiskey
