02/06/18 - 1327hrs Daily report, California State Militia

* Taiwan: Currently it is being reported that 2 are dead and 150 injured after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit earlier today off the coast. Social media is showing pictures of toppled and heavily leaning buildings. A 5.1 hit shortly after. Developing story. * Cape Canaveral, Florida: Well if you are completely starry-eyed for space exploration like the author of these posts… then you watched the rather amazing launch by Space X of their Heavy Lifter that sent a Tesla Roadster into space…and then landed all the booster rockets and payload rocket back on earth…it was freakin sweet. * States Vs Federal: It seems that the Democratic State Attorneys are working in concert to overload the Trump Administration with lawsuits. 32 states will have elections for AG’s in 2018. Political groups are now lining up on both sides to fundraise and turn this into a battleground position either for or against the Trump Administration and ultimately for or against Democratic or Republican party values. I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to work…I don’t this is how any of it is supposed to work… * Washington, DC: President Trump called out Congress and said that another shut down was fine if they could not come to terms on immigration reform as well as a budget. President Trump’s Chief of Staff said earlier in the day that the President was unlikely to extend the deadline when legal protections for young immigrants expire. -Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) * There are no active watches, warnings, or advisories (This is truly my favorite) -Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Sunrise - 0707hrs. Sunset - 1738hrs. * Sunny * Highs hitting 74 - lows toward 48 * Moderate Allergy Alert from Trees. No allergy alert from grass, no allergy alert for weeds * Mostly sunny through the week. Temperatures will fluctuate from low 70s to mid 70s by Thursday with mostly sunny days. No rain in the forecast. Saturday looks like it will cool down to upper 60s for a couple of days into next week. - Ring of Fire * 2.5 SW of Niland, 2.8 NW of McFarland, 2.7 SSW of Kettleman City, 2.5 SE of Pinnacles, CA. 5.3 W of Chichi-shima, Japan. 6.4, 5.1 off the coast of Hualian, Taiwan. 5.0 W of Constitucion, Chile. - Civil Unrest/ Terrorism * Damascus, Syria: -UPDATE- Russian and Government airstrikes and artillery are pounding opposition-held suburbs outside of Damascus, reports of 38 dead so far. The deaths are likely mostly civilian. In Northern Syria, Turkish President Erdogan is calling on the U.S. to withdraw troops from the Syrian town of Manbij so that the Turkish military and militia groups can continue an operation against militant Kurds which are backed by the U.S. The Russians, with the help of Turkey, have repatriated the body of the pilot that was shot down yesterday and died after parachuting to the ground when he blew himself up with a grenade while being attacked by al Qaida forces. - Rebels in the eastern Ghouta suburbs were firing rockets and mortars into the Syrian capital. The rebels are under siege by Government forces that have been pounding the suburbs with airstrikes. In northwest Syria in the province of Idlib rebel fighters shot down a Russian plane. The pilot ejected and landed safely but then was apparently killed as he resisted capture by an al-Qaida-linked group. In the Afrin area where the Turkish offensive against the Kurdish YPG continues, a Turk soldier was killed by artillery. * North Korea: A new report from the United Nations experts on North Korea claim that Russia and China are both subverting sanctions that help North Korea. The aid helps North Korea continue its ballistic missile and nuclear programs. * Iran: Iran claims to be mass producing a new type of drone that can carry smart bombs. The new advanced drone development is being financed in part by the billions of U.S. dollars received for the nuclear deal. The drones will be going to elite Revolutionary Guard units. - CA Firearms Laws: * Same tyranny as yesterday …It’s going to get worse… Thought of the day: Will the fate of this Nation rest in the hands of Patriot’s or political parties? Keep your head on a swivel and stay safe -DeltaWhiskey
