02/01/18 - 1151hrs Daily report, California State Militia

* Los Angeles: 2 teenagers have been shot at Salvador Castro Middle School. A 15yr old boy who was shot in the head is listed in critical condition and a 15yr old girl shot in the wrist is listed in fair condition. The shooter, a female is believed to be a student. Developing story. * Hayward, CA: A motorcycle police officer fired into and stolen SUV after the driver allegedly rammed and “dragged the deputy”. The suspect escaped in the vehicle and ditched it a few blocks from the scene near West A Street and Royal Ave. Deputies are still searching the neighborhood. Developing story. * Washington, DC: President Trump is expected to declassify “The Memo” and release it Friday morning. Nancy Pelosi seems much invested in stopping the memo or discrediting Republican Devin Nunes who is responsible for the memo. FBI officials reviewed it Tuesday and edits were made at the request of the FBI and committee Democrats. No rain in the forecast. - Ring of Fire * 2.6 S of Brawley, 3.1 NE of Aguanga, 2.5 SSE of San Ardo, 2.6 NNW of Plumas Eureka, 2.5 E of Hydesville, CA. 5.3 W of Lata, Solomon Islands. 5.0 SSE of Sigave, Wallis and Futuna. 5.4 Pacific-Antarctic Ridge. 5.2 ESE of Palora, Ecuador. - Civil Unrest/ Terrorism * Northern Syria: 12 days into the new front and battle that has been opened between Turkey and Kurdish forces, –UPDATE- PKK (Kurdistan Worker’s Party) forces attacked Turkish forces in Northern Iraq killing two and wounding two others. Turkey is currently engaging elements of YPD (Kurdish militia) in Northern Syria. Also a video is circulating of members of the Turkish militia surrounding the exposed mutilated upper body of a female Kurdish fighter. The head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights condemned the mutilation of the fighter’s body calling it a “crime”. Turkey considers the YPD to be an extension of the PKK which has led a 3 decade long insurgency in Turkey attempting to create a Kurdish homeland. So far approximately 67 civilians including 20 children, 85 YPD (Kurdish militia) and 81 rebel fighters supported by Turkey have been killed since the beginning of the Turkish campaign. * Ghazni Province, Afghanistan: 2 U.S. drone strikes hit a building where a meeting of Taliban was taking place. 26 were killed and 22 wounded. The senior Taliban commander for the province was killed in the attack. * Virginia Tech: An international student was arrested for possession of an assault rifle. Since he is of Chinese citizenship and not a U.S. citizen it is illegal for him to own a firearm. Police had been conducting an investigation of him prior to the arrest.
