* Florida/ Caribbean – Hurricane Irma’s path now looks to be a direct, head on hit with southern Florida wear it will continue up the state and into Georgia. The Governor is urging people to evacuate or prepare for the approaching storm that should hit southern Florida around 2am Sunday night. There are currently 3 hurricanes in the Atlantic basin – Irma, Jose which is West of Irma and just became a Category 1 and Katia which is just forming with 75mph winds in the Gulf of Mexico. * Equifax Data Breach - Equifax, the credit monitoring company, is reporting that they have discovered a data breach of around 143 million Americans information. Yes, for some users this includes credit dispute documents and full credit card numbers but those numbers are relatively low compared to the overall data breach. You can go here to see if your information was put in jeopardy. If so Equifax will sign you up for a free monitoring program. * Washington, DC – The House approved a package of bills raising the debt ceiling and providing financial aid for Hurricane relief for Harvey victims. The bills now move to the White House for the President to sign. * Mexico – 8.1 magnitude earthquake hit off the western coast last night. At least 32 are dead in one of the largest earthquakes to ever hit Mexico. Expect numbers to change as these are just preliminary numbers coming back as Mexico begins the process of rescue and recovery.
