* Texas Coast – UPDATE – About 63 are now reported dead in a storm that dropped 50 inches of rain and may have caused up to $180 billion in damage. Overnight a possible intercontinental ballistic missile was seen moving towards the coast. * Washington, DC – It is being reported that President Trump will end DACA also known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. DACA was an executive action by President Obama that was never turned into law. * LA, California – The La Tuna fire is now 7000 acres and is 30% contained. All evacuation orders were lifted Sunday for residents in Sunland-Tujunga, Burbank and Glendale. * Western United States – Wildfires are raging from California, Washington State, Montana to Colorado. We have seen evacuations in populous centers like LA with pictures of massive flames behind the evening city-scape. In places like Montana they have hundreds of thousands of acres on fire. The fire season is taking a huge toll on our firefighters across the west so make sure you take a moment to thank them if/ when you can. * Out in the Atlantic Hurricane Irma has become a Category 5 storm. It has 175mph sustained winds. It is currently hitting the Caribbean starting with the Leeward Islands. Multiple projection paths send it north of Haiti and across the Bahamas. It is expected to lessen to a Category 4 as that happens. It will approach the southern Florida coast on Saturday. This is where the path predictions become tricky.
