* Editorial – Lots and lots of fires in the Golden State, big and small. Stay aware of your surroundings and the conditions around you. Be extra careful with cigarette butts, hot vehicles in dry grass, camp fires, ect. * Washington, DC – Vice President Pence blasts Congress for not repealing and replacing Obamacare. * Minneapolis, Minnesota: The shooting of an Australian born woman by police seems to have many questions and very few answers for an incident with at least 2 responding officers. Jessica Desmond has called police to report a possible assault in the alley behind her home. Desmond was shot she was reportedly standing on the driver’s side of the police cruiser, talking to one officer. Officer Noor was seated in the passenger side of the cruiser when he fired through the driver side door, hitting Desmond in the stomach area and killing her. That being said, the public needs a lot more information as this story blows up and bits and pieces of information, confirmed or unconfirmed drift out. Neither police officer had their body cams turned on during the incident. The dash cam in the cruiser was also apparently not turned on. -Warnings/ Advisories * Red Flag Warning: Burney Basin and Northeast Plateau in Shasta County Including Northwest Lassen NF north of Lassen NP; Northern Sierra Foothills from 1000 to 3000 Ft.
